Surin Thai Restaurant

The menu features a variety of Thai classics, each prepared with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. One standout dish is the Pad Thai with shrimp. The shrimp are tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, complementing the dish’s balanced flavors of sweet, sour, and salty. The Pad See Ew and Drunken Noodles are also popular, each bursting with rich, savory tastes. The Chicken Curry offers a delightful mix of tender chicken and a creamy, aromatic sauce. Though the restaurant was out of mangos during a recent visit, the sticky rice served alongside still impressed with its deliciousness.

Beyond the food, Surin Thai excels in its service. Customers consistently praise the attentive, friendly staff who ensure that every dining experience is a pleasant one. The restaurant is described as clean with an industrial chic vibe, adding to its modern and comfortable ambiance. The Thai iced tea, made from scratch, further showcases the restaurant’s commitment to providing fresh, quality food and beverages.

Surin Thai Restaurant’s commitment to quality and service has earned it a loyal following. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, it’s well worth a visit for anyone craving authentic Thai cuisine in a relaxed setting. The welcoming atmosphere and expertly crafted dishes make it a must-try destination in Banning, CA.

Enjoyed a delicious lunch here. Lovely little gem of a Thai restaurant in a strip mall. I ordered the pad Thai with shrimp. The shrimp were tender, juicy and flavorful. The sauce was just the right amount. The noodles were perfectly cooked. The Thai iced tea was from scratch. You could tell everything was fresh made. Service was excellent, very attentive. The restaurant was clean, with sort of an industrial chic feel. I will definitely return to try other items on the menu. We are so lucky to have cuisines of other countries in our little town.

Great food, excellent service. We had the chicken pad Thai, shrimp pad see ew, drunken noodles and chicken curry. All were great and tasted of good quality. They ran out of mangos but we got the sticky rice anyway and it didn't disappoint. It was delicious on its own!

I recently dined at Surin Thai and I must say, the experience was wonderful. The food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. However I was shocked to witness an incident involving Ms. Mariel H. Despite her not ordering anything, she was incredibly rude to the staff. She even yell and threatening to leave a negative review. It's disheartening to see such a behavior especially when the staff was trying to do their best to provide you an excellent service Its unfair to judge the restaurant poorly due to an individual's poor action. Kudos to the restaurant staff for maintaining their professionalism despite the challenges.

The ambience is simple: black tables and black chairs, some cool pictures on the wall, and lovely Thai statues are part of the décor. The place was busy when I showed up; I took that as a good sign and decided to eat there. The waitress came over to me as soon as she could and hurriedly took my order; I had to walk to the counter to ask for the drink I ordered after feeling I had been there a long time feeling forgotten (I know it was busy but always make sure the customer is acknowledged and given a place setting and their drink). Another woman, who was sitting at a table near the counter, heard me ask for my drink and brought it to me after the waitress apologized and told me she was "so busy" (the waitress is obviously overworked). I ordered the eggplant pork belly stir fry, which was very tasty, btw.

I cannot recommend this place enough. Seriously, some of the best Thai food I've had in a long time. We ordered the kao moo grob with crispy pork belly, siomai, pad woo sen with chicken, and fried tofu. It was all delicious. The pork belly was extremely crispy and meaty, not just fat. The ginger sauce was so good that I put it on the tofu and siomai. The servings were good sized but not excessively large. There's definitely a focus on quality over quantity. We came here hoping it would be quiet and it absolutely is, in a cozy sort of way. Service was absolutely delightful. We were checked on but not repeatedly bothered. It was a perfect balance of attention. And they were just generally nice people. We will be coming back.
